Hair Care as the name suggests it covers the care and maintenance of your hair. Hair Care generally has two choices, cosmetology and sanitation. Hair Care methods would be varying from one another based on their type of hair and the method of care that suits perfectly. It is a well known fact that hair has a great deal to play when it comes to diversification, as hair will not be the same for everybody. The daily care you take for the hair on your head is obviously hair care, as it is important not to get confused with treatments and care that is meant for certain hair issues.

Both men and women equally care on hair styling, as the way they carry one’s appearance matters. Daily hair styling using various chemical cosmetics can cause damage to one’s hair causing several serious problems like hair fall, dandruff, scalp burns, dryness of scalp, etc. If you consider the net amount of cash spent yearly by both men and women for hair care treatments and products, you can find a great amount that can purchase even an appliance for home.

An important thing that men and women must follow is to trim their hair every six to eight weeks of normal hair care. Even if you want to have a long hair, you still have to trim a little at the hair ends. This should be a hair care routine that should never be stopped following.

Human Hair has 3 kind of textures, Oily, Dry and Normal. All the 3 types will has its own problems. Dry Hair often becomes monotonous every time when you use shampoo. Considering the oily hair, the hair always looks oily and thus attracts lot of dirt and dust and makes the hair look bad.

The oil secreted from the oil glands on the scalp usually spreads through the whole hair. Normal hair looks good at some times and become bad later.

Hair Care Tips

Following are some hair care tips that help in hair maintenance and repair on damaged dull hair.

  • Every night, before going to bed, you must brush your hair.
  • Use a soft silken shampoo to wash your hair, herbal based is highly recommended. Use a reasonable amount of shampoo in regards with your hair length. You can also use a Conditioner to manage your hair together.
  • Do not brush your hair, when it is wet. Brushing the wet hairs will make the hairs stretch long and eventually break down. You can just use your fingers to comb, or use bigger tooth comb and brush the hair gently.
  • Do not use drying devices to blow your wet hair. Blowing will cause the hairs to lose too much moisture and can cause hair split.
  • Never use chemical dyes; instead you can use henna for coloring and conditioning purposes.
  • Drink 8 glasses of water every day and take calcium rich food or supplements.
  • Do not brush your hair, after a perm. Just comb the hair softly.
  • Every 7 weeks, you must trim your hair, in order to avoid split ends.
  • Do not pull you hair tight for any hair styling, as it loosens one’s hair root from the scalp.
  • Straighten and Curly hair products that include chemicals may damage your hair due to harshness and excess style workouts.
  • Go for natural source of hair strengthening products that are more specific in maintenance and stimulating growth.
Home Remedies for Hair Care

  • Use natural soaps and herbal shampoo to wash your hair.
  • Use shikakai periodically to wash your hair.
  • Apply oil and give a quick massage for atleast 5 minutes to make the oil enter inside your scalp this avoids dryness.
  • Use mustard oil or coconut oil 4 times a week. Moroccan oil, Amla oil or Arnica medicated oil should be used periodically to strengthen the hair roots.
  • Regular your eating habits with food that contains more vegetables, grains and nuts, milk, greens, fruits, etc.
  • Regular exercising also help in maintaining good blood circulation to hair roots that helps to stimulate growth of hair.
