Hair Straighteners Hair straighteners refer to methods of removing bends and curls in the hair. They work by breaking the hydrogen molecules in the hair. The hair straighteners are invented by Erica Feldman by using chemicals of scalp preparation and lotions to straighten the hair. But unfortunately they caused damaging of hairs. After several years, heated metal hair care implements such as hot metal combs were invented by M.Marcel Grateau . With the use of this metal hair care, the straighteners could slide through the hair .As a result, there was less damage and limited dryness when compared to the previous method. After the introduction of heated metal hair care implements, ceramic and electrical straighteners were also introduced allowing the adjustments according to the heat settings and straightener size.
